If we could not measure, we record that we could not measure. It never becomes “up”, and it never resets your failure count — a flickering vantage must not hide a real outage.

Your box is one machine in one datacentre. There is no high availability and no failover, and we are not going to pretend otherwise — if it reboots or the datacentre has an incident, your tunnel is down until it comes back.
